2007 Rounder of the Year Tournament update (posted 03/18/07)
A series of tournaments is being organized at casinos in the region to determine the Alabama Player of the Year. A point system will be set up to keep track of the top players after each tournament.
The First of the Qualifying events took place in January at these Tournaments in Mississippi
Our first Rounder of the Year Qualifying Tournaments were:
- WSOP Circuit Event Grand Casino Tunica on Jan 8-13
- World Poker Open Gold Strike Tunica on Jan 4-8
- IP Poker Classic IP Biloxi on Jan 25- Feb 3
We have tallied the results from these Tournaments for our Player of the Year Standings to date.
Our Next Qualifying event is the WSOP Circuit Event at Harrah’s New Orleans, May14-18, 2007. $300, $500 and $1000 Buy in events will be used for ‘Rounder Player of the Year’ points.
