Our March Rounder Girl is full of life, love and luck.
“I was born on St. Patrick’s Day, so I consider my self a lucky charm!”
Rachel is a University of Alabama Birmingham sophomore majoring in business administration. She would love to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales.
She needs a successful career to support her favorite pastime … shopping. “I shop for everything that has to do with being a girl – clothes, shoes, purses … I have more shoes that you can count – they make the outfit. My favorite pair is my silver glittery ones. I love glitter, and I always have it on me somewhere.”
The key to a good date for Rachel involves dinner and lots of screaming. “I love to go to horror movies. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my favorite horror movie because it’s based on a true story and that scares me the most.”
For Rachel the outdoors is best, which is why the Sunshine State is her favorite vacation spot. “Anywhere in Florida is wonderful. Panama City is a lot of fun, but I really want to visit Miami as soon as I can.”
While she is waiting for the real thing, Rachel gets a taste of Miami in one of her favorite shows, CSI Miami. “I think David Caruso is great. I have a bit of a crush on him. I would like to meet him one day.”
Rachel also loves kids. “I have two nieces and one nephew and I love them very much. They live close by and I try to see them as much as I can. I don’t think I ever want to get married, but I wouldn’t mind having kids.”
Rachel likes to take care of herself, and she can. “I like to box. I used to train when I was in high school. My favorite fighter is Mohammad Ali – I also like Mike Tyson, he has a bad temper like me.”
A full-blooded Italian Rachel has a passion for life, parties and food. “I love Italian food. My dad makes the best pasta. He has secret ingredients and uses angel hair pasta. I can’t cook like my dad, but I’m pretty good. I can make great chicken fettuccini alfredo – the secret is marinating the chicken in wine and herbs.”
She’s also a big fan of parties with friends, and you can find Rachel and company often at 11-20 in Birmingham.
One thing’s for sure – no matter where you find her, on the dance floor, in the boxing ring, or in the kitchen, our brown eyed Rounder Girl is sure to be the center of attention.
