SMOKIN’ THE SOUND AT ISLE OF CAPRI BILOXI

BILOXI, Miss. (March 5, 2007) —Offshore races kick off again this year at the Isle of Capri Casino Resort in Biloxi on Thursday, March 22.
Smokin’ the Sound offers spectacular racing as part of the Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association with race teams competing in seven race categories. Each race will likely attract over 40 boats clocking speeds from 100 to 150 mph.
Isle of Capri Casino Resort - Biloxi is a co-host of Race Village and also features a premium viewing area from the sixth floor of the parking garage on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 beginning at 10:00 am.
Guests may tour Race Village where boats will be displayed Thursday, March 22 through Sunday, March 25 daily from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Guests can also meet and greet race teams at the Lava Bar on Saturday, March 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Wristbands that allow entry into Race Village and all premium-viewing areas will cost $10 per person and may be purchased in advance from Bank Corp South Gulfport or Peoples Bank in Biloxi. Wristbands will also be available for purchase at any viewing gate and children 12 and under receive free admission.
